The Non-Championship Scale Free Flight classes take place during the day. Saturday is Aeromodeller/Model Aircraft designs, Flying Only, at 11.00 – 12.00 with Outdoor Rubber Kit Scale from 14.00 – 15.00. Sunday is Open Scale, Flying Only, from 14.00 -15.00.
Any changes due to weather will be posted on the FF Control Van on the day, along with the flying location and any other information. Remember that the Scale FF classes are now on the separate Scale FF Nationals entry form.
The purpose of the Saturday classes is to encourage participation and stimulate interest, hence late entries may be submitted on the day prior to the start time of each contest. The rules for these classes are now in the 2017 BMFA Scale contest rule book. For details of appropriate models try the following websites:

Static Judging for the three Championship classes of IC, CO2/Electric and Rubber takes place all day during Saturday with the flying element starting at 18.00 on Saturday and on Sunday. Weather permitting, three rounds will be flown on each day. Further details will be issued with competitors’ confirmation of entry packs.

Spectators are welcome but please do not mingle with the contestants to avoid accidents to models, and be aware of what is going on when the flying begins.
